Emily Burton

For this project I will be spending a month of my summer in Mesquite, Nevada teaching dance camps under the direction of the city. I have already talked to a representative and they will provide a space for me to teach as well as advertising and collecting money. I will plan the camps myself. This includes coming up with themes for each week of camp, finding games to teach the concepts I want to portray and choreographing short routines that the kids will perform at the end of the week for their parents. I also plan on running the camps myself, so I will carry out everything I plan. I will run and plan four weeks of camp.
